Does anyone know how to convert paradox 9 tables into mysql? If so is the conversion simple and does paradox have a built in function or script that can be run to do this? Which tables are more stable for alot of users and records being accessed per day Paradox or SQL ,

I use this code to update my paradox dbs canceled and inspected date fields , (SQL = "Update New_Order2 set InspectedDate = {" & Request.Form("isd" & intR) & "}, " & _, "CanceledDate = {" & Request.Form("cd" & intR) & "} where " & _ , "FileNumber = '" & Request.Form("ref" & intR) & "' "), it updates correctly to the database, however, if someone goes back to update that file again, the dates change from 2001 to 1901...does anyone know why when I update a file more than once it changes the date format from say 1/1/2001 to 1/1/1901?, thank you

I actually think I know what the problem may be...The Rochester server's .net file(13K) is pointed to their C:/, shouldn't this file be pointed to my servers C:/, within the BDE Administrator/configuration, /native/paradox? where the Net Dir is pointed to C:/??? Since the Rochester server cannot locate the .net file that matches the record, it assumes it is in use and therefore locks the file from users on their network. Does this sound correct?, thanks , john c
