A documented error from our DBA Documented Errors Page

Documented Error:

nmefwmi.exe has stopped working

This error is caused by a defect in 11g limited to Windows Vista. The nmefwimi.exe is an Oracle 11g service used by dbconsole (OaracleDBConsoleorcl). You can stop this service to stop this error then set it's Startup Type to Manual to prevent it from returning. Doing so will not affect your database. When you need to use dbconsole, start the service manually.

Also, check with Oracle for an update that fixes this issue.

The following screen snippet highlights the service you need to stop.
